Faces Of Our Family

Josh Ching
Josh is a second year student at Point Loma studying kinesiology. He loves to play basketball, hang outside and play board games and card games.
“God is really showing me His consistency throughout all the inconsistency in the world. It’s so easy to think one way and have this idea that maybe things are going to go back to normal. But, the reality is that we don’t know that to be true or not. God, on the other hand, stays consistent throughout it all, though the things of this world may not be consistent.”
Ginther Family
Say “hi” to the Ginther Family—Susie, Steve, Max and Sadie. Susie and Steve are members of the Semper Fi adult fellowship and Susie currently serves on our Fullerton Free staff in Facilities.
Something that makes Max smile is playing and Sadie smiles when she gets to ride her bike.
God has been teaching their family patience. Patience for Steve as he tries to work with everyone home. Susie as she spends a lot of time with two small children. Max as he’s figuring out school and spending all of his time with his little sister. Sadie as she’s really entering toddlerhood and finding her boundaries.
“He’s also been showing me new ways to love my neighbors.” -Susie
Jose Orendin
Jose grew up in Fullerton and enjoys spending time with his family and loves Taco Tuesday! When he’s not serving at Fullerton Free, he can be found working out and running around Placentia, finding fun recipes to cook up and checking out restaurants in the area.
Jose is currently serving at Fullerton Free as a security team lead. “I love getting to know those I serve and enjoy serving the church family any way I can.”
