Let's just clear the air and say we all have been there: a word, a tone or an action we wish to do differently. How about a missed moment we wish to redeem?
I am a daughter myself and a mother to girls my own. And when in prayer for this event, the thought came to mind of what a gift His act of grace has been for me. Our girls just finished up a unit all about His call to repentance. Story after story we saw the way God pursued His people by extending His abundant grace. That's our Father and being a daughter of His, we are given this powerful gift of grace to extend and receive. But it doesn't stop there. He not only modeled how to free and be freed from shame, guilt, regret but made it possible to bring about change, a U-Turn.
What if we as daughters and mothers invite this restorative work into our relationships? What if exchanging words like 'I'm sorry' and 'you are forgiven' becomes just as much a part of our vocabulary as 'I love you' and 'I'm grateful for you'? There is power in them. Come join us as we live out Grace & Gratitude together. We will have games, crafts and sacred space to prayerfully connect with our girls!
