Neighborhood Yard Cleanup
Have you ever watched a yard transformation video and wished you could be a part of one in person? You can! Help out one of our neighbors in need as by getting their overgrown yard back into city compliance. Chain saws, trimmers, rakes, sweating and dirty faces. Bring a pair of gloves and heart ready to love well. High School aged and above. Click the link to sign up.
Garnet Center
Solidarity is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to “Equipping Latino, Immigrant Families in Under-Resourced Neighborhoods for Community Transformation.” We will be working with them in two ways:
1) Packing grocery bags full of non-perishable foods for local residents facing food insecurity. The perfect job for the whole family. We intend to fill over 100 bags with a week's worth of groceries. Put those organizing skills to good use!
2) Outside improvements. Assemble new sheds, picnic tables, and prep an outside area to be a gathering place to share a meal. We are looking for you DIYers!
