Volunteer Sign-Up

Looking to join in on the adventure of a lifetime? We still need help to create a fun, safe and engaging environment for our kids during this summer's VBS: Into the Shipwreck. Our greatest area of need is for station-specific volunteers. There are also opportunities to serve on the prep and tear-down team. If this sounds like something you are interested in helping with, be sure to sign up to serve now!

Please email Alex Flora with any volunteer questions.

General Information:

As you pull into the parking lot or structure we will have several helpful space assistants to guide you. Please make sure to follow their instructions to ensure a smooth traffic flow and the safety of all of our arriving junior space crew.

Drop Off Procedure: (Drop off begins at 8:15am)

Please park and walk with your space crew member to get them checked in with their counselors.

Pick up procedure: (pick up is at 12:30pm)

All parents must come in and check out with their student's counselor before they will be dismissed.

Can my child bring a friend?
Yes! Children may invite a friend, just make sure that each child attending fills out a registration form. On the form there is a section where you can write the name of one friend to make sure they are placed in the same group. Due to limited small group sizes, if your child would like to be with more than one friend we cannot guarantee they will all be placed in the same small group, but we will do our best to get them in the same color group so that they will still be together throughout the day. Note: children are grouped according to grade level.

What if my child has a food allergy?
If your child has a food allergy, please make sure you indicate the type of allergy on the registration form and we will make sure to notify their counselor.

What if I need to pick up my child early?
If you need to check your child out early, please check in with one of our adult space assistants and they will help you out.

Is there any cost to VBS?
No. VBS is provided by our church and is free for all children.

What are the ages of children that can attend VBS?
VBS is for children going into the 1st through 5th grades in the Fall. VBS will be held on Main Campus (southwest corner of Rolling Hills and Brea Blvd.).

Is there a screening process for counselors?
Yes. All of our counselors are pre-screened and all counselors over the age of 18 must be fingerprinted.
