The High School Ministry Worship Coordinator oversees the planning and production of the HS
worship services in addition to shepherding and developing the artistry of gifted students.

Rehearsing and Service Planning: 40%

  • Prayerfully chooses worship songs based on the message
  • Schedules and communicates with rotating bi-weekly worship team volunteers as well as tech team volunteers using Planning Center Online
  • Is present at all rehearsals to serve as a sounding board and resource
  • Leads the Wednesday & Sunday service run-through with entire service team

Shepherding and Developing Student Worship Teams: 30%

  • Creates and champions a process for recruiting, auditioning, and bringing on new band musicians and singers
  • Executes regular spiritual development for youth worship volunteers with the goal of creating a growing, unified team
  • Future potential to develop other creative arts teams
  • Develops the students tech team with both technical and servant minded skills

Media/Service Set Up: 30%

  • Is responsible for selecting or creating all videos used in the services
  • Is responsible for creating all annoucment and worship slides in computer for each service
  • Assists the worship volunteers and tech volunteers with the set-up and tear-down of worship equipment and tech
  • Partners with HSM staff and tech team to run services smoothly
  • Partners with HSM staff for all retreats, Wednesday night events & camps in the summer
